Quantum Theory
Quantum theory is a field where idealism tends to creep in. The Copenhagen interpretation of quantum mechanics whereby it's the observer that collapses the quantum superposition of a particle and essentially gives it its presence in reality, is idealist to the core. And I don't think it's an accident that a lot of these ideas congregate around quantum mechanics. But are there other fields? Aside from cosmology, aside from quantum theory, where idealist nonsense is common?
