OAuth 2.0 - Is There a Definite Direction?

I tend to be an incremental improvement kind of person. I will say OAuth 2, for all its success and usage, it's a bit of a mess. But in general, OAuth 2.0 is widely used. It continues to be pretty successful despite problems. And at least in the nearest term, I think the efforts we'll see will be continued sort of refinements and improvements around 2.1 or maybe extensions such as Depop.
