There do seem to be distinct brain differences between those who hoard and those who don't. There was the TV show about 20 years ago Life of Grime narrated by John Peel in fact and Mr. Peel said he had never seen a hoarding behavior like my father's ever displayed or that I've ever felt succumb to. The kind of panic buying of toilet paper at the beginning of the pandemic did turn all of us into hoarders one way or another but again I would think of that more as a slightly hysterical reaction to rational market behavior right?
