There's this raging debate in the field that I work in and gifted education. Some people like Robert Pullman believe there is great value in identifying certain genetic risk factors for like reading disorders as early as possible. We don't need genetics to identify but we can show two people with the same genes have very different outcomes based on environmental input so forget all this stuff about genes environment just let's just notice kids those kids that needs the extra help they'll manifest that their behavior will cry for it.
