All assets are a future deferred consumption, so you buy a house now. If not, there's no point having it. So if you're 34 years old and you want to accumulate assets, but you can't afford a house, digital assets become an obvious place. But again, I think homeownership's not going away. It's just that there's a component of real estate that for investors is a store of value holder.
