The Language of Inheritance
The language of the kingdom is often associated with inherent inheritance. The righteous will inherit the kingdom preserve for them from the foundation of the world Matthew 25 and so the inheritance was one of the main ways that people received a large amount of money in the ancient world. It's kind of an exposition on Jesus's exhortation to store up treasure in heaven not treasure on earth like the Pharisees. They're really storing up treasure for this life in this age not for the judgment and the treasure to be received from the treasuries of heaven at the judgment and on the new earth and in the age to come.
