The Importance of Humility

The psalmist is saying part of humanity is the fact that we don't last. We were built to last but we don't and do you live in light that you're a mere mortal? I think God doesn't show us that all at once and too young but sometimes he shows it to us and these markers. Maybe you can remember the first time you came face-to-face with your own mortality. That's the first time I noticed I may not last the truth.
