Marguerite and the Prisons

Marguerite's longing for god is reminiscent of poete and other female mediaeval mystics. It's an idea she ored in her extensive correspondence with the bishop of mon giom risone who was also a colleague of the aforementioned lefeve de taple. We have a hundred and 23 surviving letters between marguerite and the bishop, which forms only part of her voluminous body of epistolary exchanges.
