The Earliest Reports of Spontaneous Human Combustion?
There is often no fire damage except in the immediate vicinity of the body. Most significantly, there's no apparent source for the combustion in the room. It looks like the victim burned up from the inside. How far back do we have reports of spontaneous human combustion? The ones i'm aware of seem to peter out after the 19 eighties but some have occurred since.

Every so often, there are reports of people bursting into flames for no apparent reason, reducing most of their body to ashes, but with little or no fire damage around them.
