I think the hardest thing about adding governance in open source projects is the lack of explicit power. As a single person may be able to actually a one person project. But I think we've seen this failure in a lot of different modes where you can get to a really frickin' big community with very little or no explicit power at all. And what happens when that happens is we get little syndicates forming that like know how to manipulate that structure and then, then, then they fight.
