Think of the brain less as a solo operator and more like an orchestra conductor. The kind of tasks that we are required to do in this world just can't get too big for any one brain, you know? That's part of why human beings are able to accomplish such amazing feats. We don't intentionally tivat it the way we cultivate skills like memorization or self discipline.
