Skating was about going fast, taking risks and being aggressive. Skaters formed their own bands that specialized in music just for the skate crowd. The scene even had a name, Nardcore, after Oxnard. Here's an example of this band called Dr. No: "Who will die underneath, but a hand of Mr. Freeze"
