The NTSB Investigates the Flight of a Flight Attendant
The NTSB was able to confirm that the plane had lost thrust due to a bird strike after analyzing the cockpit voice recorder and flight data recorder. They found no evidence of pre-existing engine system or structural failures. The planes that were hit were Canadian geese, which are pretty big.
