Is Democracy a Better System?

A lot of the recent pulling suggesting a declining support for democracy and an increasing popularity, in themad least, from tunisia through, for authoritarian models. But i think it's interesting we talk about china and russia. One argument for democracy in the context of what's been happening there recently. If russia were a proper functioning democracy, ukraine would never have happened. And it's a catastrophe for russia, quite apart from the ukranians in the world.
