The term mother focker is a relatively recent addition to the english language. It's particularly taken up by black america as a kind of totemic profanity that is embraced by us. After a while, you have this word that not only means that you're a bad person, but it can be used to mean just a generic individual. Next thing you know, it's just mufucker.
