Shackleton's Journey
We went to look for a shipwreck of Shackleton who people will may have heard the name, but he's responsible for the most extraordinary journey of survival in human history. He and six men leave on an 800 mile open boat journey across the roughest stretch of ocean on planet Earth,. southern ocean to get to South Georgia. They do it in 36 hours and almost die doing that. And then he goes back and rescues everyone they all return home. Tragically, some of those people were killed in the first World War when they arrived.
