The Origins of Great Zimbabwe

Cecil Rhodes and the British South Africa Company enlisted Jay Theodore Bent to investigate Great Zimbabwe. He began an excavation that unearthed artifacts that fit right into the context of African archaeology. Weapon points, tools, and pottery were all totally consistent with what should have been expected of a Southeast African civilization.
