D b cooper jumped from a plane over Washington state in 19 72. The search for him was the biggest and most extensive man hunt in U.S. history. Authorities couldn't predict where he would have landed because they didn't know much about it. They tried to trace em through 200 thousand dollars, but no luck. He may have come down in a drainage area near mount saint helen's. But there is no evidence that any physical evidence on the ground has ever been found.
