Is There a Link Between State and Private Schools?
State disinvestment has shifted the cost burden from the government, from states and federal government, over to families. Without more subsidies for working class and middle class kids who can pay some, but not full, tuition at some of these schools, how else can schools subsidize those students? I mean, i'm sitting here thinking about my time and undergrad doing work study lake. What's the fixLake? And i have a sense that more schools are going to have to look at ways to attract students without saddling them with crushing or crippling debt when they graduate.
