Is China's Exit From Zero COVID Emblematic of This Panic?
Is the messy way in which China has exited zero COVID emblematic of this panic at all? I've always thought that if there were two words that defined the Chinese state, it was control and competence. And the exit from zero COVID appears to be neither controlled nor competent. That could be a misperception on the part of outsiders, or it could be accurate.
