The Universe Might Be Two Dimensions, Right?

For a long time, we did think it was three d space. There are ideas about how the universe might have more dimensions. But this particular idea that the universe might be two d came from the craziest thing in the universe. And so, of course, it came from studying black holes. We look at the extremes of the universe because it shows us what's possible.
