Banks will probably just bail it out. They can't keep any pretense that any of these big machines, these big concerns, could ever face liquidation. To do that is to just see the whole thing, shut it all up. That was what the 70s economic revolution was really about. It was about creating a state that was no longer capable of doing the sort of Keynesian management that the post-war New Deal state did.
