Android SDK APIs - How Do They Work?

On a very different level Android is Linux. So literally everything you do involves interacting with the kernel. And so that's why we introduced this HIDL construct in order to then be able to bolt an enforcement mechanism to it. The initial conversion of these subsystems followed the natural boundaries that had established themselves over the course of Android's growth.
