After the El Reno tornado, I realized that it could get me. It's hard to think of a more powerless moment than one that defies your understanding and then shows you how helpless you are in its path. For Ken, El Reno caused him to question his knowledge. How vulnerable am I or how dangerous is this activity? He thought I understood how the atmosphere worked, but maybe I don't at all.
