The Libertarian Streak in the GOP
Jared Polis tries to paint himself as a libertarian. He's been able to trick the population into thinking he's doing libertarian stuff, even though he's not. I worked under two governors when I was in the legislature and I assure you he is the most radical left wing progressive governor we've ever seen. The only problem is he's in his second term and he's term limited. So now he probably feels like he can be a little bit more comfortable doing some of these things.
