How Do You Tell the Difference Between Warrum Buffet and the Real Deal?

We often don't know what's next, right? So you consider hiring somebody with a skill, but a skill that they've just sort of copied from somebody else. Then when things change, they're different, they have no idea how to respond or how to deal with that.
