The Evolution of Homo Erectus

Homo erectus migrated out of africa due to the pressures created on its ancestors by the start of the quatenary. Homo rectus was becoming more and more able at creating tools and able to hunt larger animals. The fact that homo erectus is believed to have consumed more meat than its austrolepithesine ancestors would have allow the brain to develop enough cognitive ability for the tribes who migrated outwards.
