Cancellation of This Meeting Is Phenomenally Stupid
The balloon incident is serious. It's not good for other countries to spy on us. But every assessment we've seen in the public by current and former officials says there's probably very little additional they can get from these balloons that they can't get from aerial surveillance or satellites. You can't let something like this go un-responded to, but the query to me is why is canceling the right response? Why not use it as a reason to force Xi Jinping to sit with Anthony Blinken and apologize to his face to acknowledge we shouldn't be doing this?"
