With deep learning, we show many examples of cats to a neralnet. It will extract the features of interest itself and learn how to recognize a cat. But with eye diseases, the machine doesn't care whether itis looking at cats or the backs of eyes. To do that, the a i needs not one neural network, but two. We have huge numbers of o c t scans to train these neural networks. Does it work? Then? I think the results are amazing. I think the they're jawdropping.
