We've only found one individual dinosaur for every ten thousand years. There's so little we know even about how they look, right? So then when you start thinking about how they sound, even more ephemeral, it's a significantly harder question to answer. The first basic way to figure out an ancient sound like this is to just look at the actual stuff that made the sounds,. Like essentially looking for a fossilized roar.

They probably didn’t roar like lions. Their real voices were likely much, much weirder. We asked scientists to help us recreate these strange, extinct sounds.
