Typewriters and the Quirty Keyboard

From the 18 90 time frame up through the twenties, typewriters evolved a little bit. But by the time we reached the twenties, they had really completely homogenied. They were almost all quirty. And then from that point forward, we kind of stuck with that form factor until we got to the electro mechanical and electrical typewriters. Then started looking at different ways to imprint letters on to paper.
