Growth marketers and companies are perhaps not realizing the value of small, individual types of interactions when they're first starting out. That's potentially not going to scale over a longer period of time. Getting a product from zero to ten thousand uses is very different to getting a product from one million to a hundred million uses. And i think you have to divide it into these individual phases. The most common unscalable thing founders have to do at the start is to recruit users manually. Nearly all start ups have to. You can't wait for users to come to you. You have to go out and get them.
