Is It a Trend Towards Authoritarianism on the Right?
It's weird on the right, it seems to be like a trend towards authoritarianism on the right. Its number one, its trump's influence. Trump individually is responsible for a lot of this because donald trump has a strange affinity for every strong man that he can find. In some way, they cheer for any terrible thing. You typically see it more as an anti americanism, as an overriding force. I think this is just, idon't know, it's an instance of fighting the last war. Sometimes a lot of people are stuck in irac and we're always learning the lessons of the last war, right as it's time to learn different lessons for the new war
