The Land Value Tax Is a Good Idea, Right?

A land value tax would make it much easier for the average person to have their own business, work for themselves and not be beholden to giant corporations. The profits you get are due to your investment of labor and possibly capital. So why is nobody doing this? Because land owners. It's like a lot of power.
