The Importance of Women in the First Two Chapters of Genesis

Moses's life is meant to be a trailer, so to speak, of the movie that's about to play out with the people of Israel because she takes pity on him that he's crying. It's interesting in verse six that when she opens the arc, she saw. So that language of seeing is used seven times in this chapter. She saw the child and behold, the baby was crying. And again, I think it's picture that we're seeing of the way that Moses's life embodies the experiences of redemption that Israel is about to go through.
