The Mystery of the Trinitarian God
I believe Jesus from his earliest days was aware of a vocation to do and be this character that Scripture was speaking of. And strangely in those same passages this is how God himself expresses himself as a human being. That's very mysterious but ultimately I think it goes back to Genesis 1, the creation of man and woman in God's image.
