Pluto's Cryovolcano

Pluto was named after our favourite former planet in the 1930s. In 1956, Britain generated its first commercial nuclear power. Since then, we've been amassing tons of plutonium. It's both expensive and insecure - there is currently no long-term plan. The estimated cleanup costs are up to hundreds of billions of pounds. Should we convert it into a usable fuel or get rid of it? How long can this decision be put off? And why does it matter?
