The Marxist Task: Reconceptualizing the Relationship Between Class and Capitalism
There are forms of populism re-emerging that fit this La Cloud model but would not recognize what we were talking about. The whole thing is not immediately anti-capitalist actually at all, right? It's leftist, it's populist, but it's vague. So I think the Marxist task would be something like that. Marxism needs to be in the arena of those struggles or it will be on the sidelines; it must reconceptualize their relationship to capitalism.
