We develop an extremely complex and abstract sense of self because we sort everything we encounter into the categories, i, me, mine, not me and not mine. This is where our problems arise and where we create duca, dissatisfactoriness or suffering for ourselves. We can create duca in response to something as subtle as, say, a perceived micro aggression that happened a week ago at work. Or we can fiel duca about incredibly abstract or theoretical things - such as if we think back to a decision we made as a ten ager that had a significant impact on the course of our life. And it's also possible to have an agenda without involving a belief in executive eye,
