Taking Power or Accepting Power?

Napoleon could have accepted the crown with all of the best intentions. He did not quit at valley forge when everything was lost, and he didn't become king when he had an opportunity to seize that power base. Instead, he gave the people the freedom to do its right. In fact, his farewell address will put it this waye n and morality are indispensable supports for our political prosperity.
