The Supply Chain for Renewables Is Constrained
If we insist it has to be green, then we'll build some wind farms and some solar. But that might displace some renewables elsewhere in the system. Is that a fair statement? I think that's absolutely right. And at the scale that people are talking about, but for hydrogen, it's a really massive amount of green electricity needed. You can't build that massive amount of electricity and also do all the other stuff that we've been talking about decarbonizing.
