Kamal: Empathy was not my strength 20 years ago, but I always had empathy for dogs. And that empathy for dogs is what taught me to have empathy for people. He says if we could be kind to our dogs, then often we should be kind to each other. "I think that's something that we all need to do work on, reflect on ourselves," he says.
