The Origin of Human Rights

In the classical and Christian tradition, rights are embedded into our existence as human beings. Alan Dershowitz has written a book about this called Rights from Wrong's Secular Theory of the Origin of Rights. He bases it in our particular experience of injustice. And he wants to say by trial and error, as it were, we encounter so much injustice that this is how we can know what is just. It seems to me it's very weak and subsequent to some very pertinent and devastating criticism.
