You could go in there at any time of the day and night and you would see at least two or three famous actors stuffing themselves with cheap food. The person that I used to often share at meal was the great Michael Gamben, who played Professor Dumbledore in all the early Harry Potter films. It's not there anymore and in its place is a fashionable burger chain restaurant. Is that because tastes have changed? Maybe dare I say it, these old caffs, I can chips places as you call them, don't really satisfy people anymore,. whereas the chains, they do delicious food, it's the same every time it's reliable. maybe these old caFFs don't exist anymore
