In the book, descartes argues that a thing that thinks is what we call a mind. But does he believe thete's a god, or reason his way to god usan? Well, probably both, i think. I mean, it seems to me that what he gives as proofs of god are not tremendously convincing as theological Proofs. And indeed, none of his contemporaries seem to be content with them.
