The Cost Disease Socialism of Higher Education

Cost disease socialism applies to when you restrict supply of something but also subsidize it and econ 101 tells you that sends the price right up. The republican version of this is higher ed sucks so like was just like unhelpfully cut funding exactly without tying that to something specific. I think we could obviously have a debate in our society like what should the university system look like or how much money can be spent on student loans.
