Is Australia Playing Catch Up to the States?

i feel like the conversation is at least significantly ahead of where we're at in australia. The big festivals there, things like cocella, lola, peluza, not only seem to be more contemporary and reflective of those communities. And i have been able to to in so many places and just see kind of differences first hand. I wonder whether i'ms looking at this from the perspective of, the grass is always greener,. That's my sense of things on the outside here in Australia. What do what do you think? Does it feel like to you that we're still playing catch up to the states, particular, on these sorts of issues?
