Coligula's Ascension to Rome

Tiberius was conspicuously not granted the same divine honors as Augustus. Coligula made preparations to give the people of Rome something they had not seen more than a decade, a personal appearance by their emperor. Gamela's was immediately locked out of his inheritance when Tiberius died. The young man turned out to be one of the first victims of Coligula's reign and did not survive the year.
