The New Education Policy Promotes Multilingualism

The new education policy replaces the 34 year old National Policy of Education that was formed in 1968. NAP 2020 states that there will be a greater flexibility of the three language formula and no language will be imposed on any state. To learn the three languages will be choice of the state, region and students themselves as long as at least two of the three languages are native to India. Satrupa: This NAP 2020 promotes an early implementation of three language formula to promote multilingualism right from the school level.
