Ambient Queerness in Fiction
I think that this fits into our final thing that I want to talk about, which is ambient queerness in fiction. It's also part of imagining a more balanced future. People are never in danger for who they love, how they present, how they live their lives. And even though bad things happen in my books, it's not going to be that. The real world hurts us enough in that way. If we are actually going to believe that the future is good, that obstacle needs to be removed from it.
